Family Has No Boundary

In Thai, 'The Yard' means 'family', and we genuinely believe we are a big family, regardless of our nationality, religion, colors, or borders. The Yard family comprises many people and things that we hold dear.

Firstly, our team - we treat them like family, prioritizing their well-being, time, and happiness. We even set aside time, training, and opportunities to help employees achieve their life goals! We're all about changing the work culture for the better, and you can learn more about that here

Secondly, our guests - we don't see them as just customers but rather as part of our Yard family. The average Yard guest has traveled over 1,000 KM to stay at our hostel. With that in mind, we go the extra mile to ensure they have a comfortable and enjoyable stay with us. We maintain strong bonds with previous guests even after they've left too! We love to hear a returning guest enter the Yard with a big smile and say, “ I’m home!”

From Day 1, we wanted to make the guest feel at home in South East Asia.

Thirdly, our neighbors - we're all about community, whether organizing or promoting events like plastic separation,  cloth swaps, music nights, BBQs, or just being good neighbors.

And finally, our planet - we view future generations as part of our family, which means we have a responsibility to take care of our planet and ensure it's in good shape for them. We're always mindful of our environmental impact, and you can learn more about our efforts here
